Our works included an extensive strip out of the building to take it back to shell and core including demolition of the existing main entrance and corners of the building. A new steel framed extension was then erected to create a double height Reception area.
Externally a new canopy, glazed curtain walling and cladding were installed along with feature cruciform LED columns. A high standard of finish was achieved within the Reception area featuring bespoke joinery, a new Atrium roof-light, concrete effect Armourcoat surfaces and tiled flooring.
A new passenger lift and main entrance staircase were also installed and encased with bespoke joinery providing access to the common part areas, which included new WC’s and shower accommodation.
The 62,000 sq ft office areas received a contemporary CAT A refurbishment featuring an exposed soffit and M&E services, along with a central ‘floating’ raft.
We also replaced the corners of the building and 2no internal Atriums with new fully glazed curtain walling as well as installing new rooflights within the 1st Floor Atrium. New MEPH installations included new LV distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, air conditioning and ventilation including new roof level plant, a BMS system and DWS.
Externally we redecorated the existing cladding and curtain walling to compliment the new modern extension. To complete the transformation of this building new hard and soft landscaping was also undertaken featuring new planting, resin bound paving, furniture and lighting.
