01 Project close-out

At close-out, our teams undertake a structured schedule of testing, witnessing and commissioning. We demonstrate all equipment and controls to relevant parties via a detailed commissioning schedule, and provide training to any associated occupiers. We are also available to assist new tenants with any specific needs they may have around taking occupation.

02 Aftercare & handover

At handover, we provide comprehensive Operation & Maintenance Manuals; containing detailed, clear and concise information on all elements of the works undertaken. We also fully specify any relevant Warranty details and Maintenance Agreements.

At Scott Osborn we take great pride in the quality of our Aftercare Service. We are available to support both Facilities Teams and new occupiers, ensuring a smooth transition. Any issues that do arise are rectified, within the retention period.

03 Operation & maintenance manuals

Our Project Coordination Team collates and records all of the relevant information throughout the course of the works, including methods of construction, record drawings, suppliers/contractors information and maintenance procedures. These detailed records form part of our Operation & Maintenance Manuals which we handover in hard copy and electronic formats.

We are committed to implementing policies that reduce the harmful effects of our operations on the environment. We minimise pollution, our environmental impact and aspire towards a culture of continual environmental improvement.

We encourage the effective use of electrical energy and do not permit the use of materials containing or manufactured using CFCs or HCFCs unless specific authority has been obtained and alternatives aren’t possible. As a rule, we use sustainable resources that are either reusable or recyclable, and all waste is tested, transported and disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way available.

We carry out an environmental audit on all new major projects and require all our major suppliers of goods & services to provide their environmental policy as a condition of order. Most importantly though, we continually review and improve upon our environment-first processes, keeping each member of our teams aware of the latest best-practices.
