Commercial Offices

Bold colours and new balustrades for these bright, open plan offices.

The exposed concrete ceilings and exposed services were enhanced by the use of bold accent colours to provide contemporary office accommodation. Our works included the formation of a new WC block, new raised access flooring, and new mechanical and electrical installations that included lighting and small power. We also undertook repairs to existing walls, minor structural alterations, added a new fire alarm system to suit the new layout and, of course, decorations throughout.

The main staircase and lightwell openings received new architectural handrails and balustrades, and featured suspended lighting. Existing rooflights were refurbished and the addition of a bespoke lightwall brought further illumination to the lower ground floor. New surface-mounted mechanical and electrical services were installed throughout, enhancing the contemporary but industrial feel of these bright open plan offices.

"It was an absolute pleasure to work with both GVA and HUT on this scheme."
