Our works at this Grade II listed building located just off Piccadilly involved the full refurbishment of the existing office space and common parts. This included the creation of an enlarged reception area, an A3 retail unit at ground floor and alterations to the top storey to create a roof terrace. The office accommodation featured new mechanical and electrical installations throughout, including new 2-pipe underfloor VRF air conditioning.
New WC cores were formed to all floors featuring high quality finishes and bespoke joinery, this included new commuter accommodation within the basement.
The Reception area was enlarged and refurbishment featuring an ornate vaulted ceiling. A new scenic lift was installed making the most of the beautiful original features.
Externally the architectural masonry to the façade was carefully cleaned and repaired to restore this building back to its full glory.
The original listed elements of the building were elegantly restored, and new contemporary finishes were installed. The resulting effect was a modern working space showcasing the buildings fine period detailing.
This project achieved BREEAM rating of excellent and was shortlisted for the BREEAM Awards 2017
